Wir haben es mal wieder geschafft: Einer von Vivians "Freunden" ist verloren gegangen. Diesmal ist der Verlust besonders tragisch: Es geht um "Bolt", seit Weihnachten ihr neuer bester Freund, ohne den sie niemals schlafen geht. Wie im gleichnamigen Disney Film bleibt Bolt trotz umfangreicher Suche zunächst unauffindbar. Ich habe den Verdacht, dass er wie in der Geschichte früher oder später zu uns zurück kommt, aber nach einer recht kurzen Nacht und einem Anruf im Disney Store beschließe ich, in einer nächtlichen Einkaufsaktion Bolt zurück zu holen. Am nächsten Morgen ist Vivian überglücklich: Bolt ist wieder da!
[Drama: We lost Vivian's new best friend "Bolt". After extensive search and a difficult bedtime, I decide to get "Bolt" from the Disney store. While driving to the store at night, I wonder if this is what Pastor Marty meant last Sunday when he said that people are possessed by their possessions. O well, she really loves her puppy, and I think that is a good thing. Two days later I receive an email from our piano teacher: a friend of her little daughter had taken Bolt home. He is a keeper, for sure. We'll keep it quiet and safe Bolt No. 1 for the next emergency that is pretty sure to come.]
Zwei Tage später dann bekomme ich eine Nachricht von unserer Klavierlehrerin: Eine Freundin ihrer kleinen Tochter hatte Bolt "versehentlich" entführt. Nach der geheimen Übergabe werde ich ihn gut verstauen - der nächste Notfall kommt bestimmt.
Bislang sind alle verlorenen Freunde wieder aufgetaucht, wenige Tage nachdem die No. 2 ins Haus kam, selbst wenn das Original viele Monate verschwunden war. Oben im Bild: Sally 1 und Sally 2. Unten: Lady 1 und Lady 2.

How cute! We have two blue rats and multiple blankies for each kid for the same reason! :)
